In 2008, St. Albert the Great alum Ken Radzminski entered the High School
Rock Off as a solo artist. Needless to say, the "Kid With the Green Guitar"
garnered quite a lot of attention with his set of folk-rock covers. After his
success in the competition, Ken joined with fellow St. Albert alum, singer
Christina Freund, and started playing at various festivals around Cleveland.
Their success led them to create a full band, and Red Velvet was born.
Since then, the band has performed in the 2009 Rock Off, and are currently
preparing for a summer filled with shows!

Their music type: folk rock originals with classic rock covers
