How the weights are made
With a little help....
Dan created the designs using AutoCad.  When the files
were complete they were transferred to the computerized
cutting table featuring a high definition plasma torch.
High Definition Plasma
What we learned:

Don't draw lines on top of lines in AutoCad !!

Don't "nest" the drawings too close together or
the lead in on the cutting torch can nick a nearby
weigh that has already been cut leaving a mark
on it.

Torches are hot!

Don't look at the torch when cutting.

Wear eye and ear protection always...it is loud!

Wear leather gloves.  Freshly cut steel is sharp!

Use safety glasses when scrapping the slag off
of the cut steel.
Weights are precision weighed
